Company

Md. Aminul Islam (amin), the Managing Director and the chairman of the group developed the idea of setting up this industry in the year 2005. The one-storied building is situated in Hajaribagh Road, Dhaka, Bangladesh covering an area of 7,000 square feet.

Machineries and its functions:

In this advanced 21st century, technology takes a major role in the production of goods. Using of high technology machines makes your work easier, saves time, less labor force and cuts down your production cost. In total the industry has 11 different sorts of machines. The categories of machines are listed below.

 

USE OF MACHINERIES FOR MAKING MASTER CARTONS:

01) Corrugation Machine. Number of machines -01
One layer of liner paper and medium paper are pasted together with gum and corrugated.

02) Cutting Machine. Number of Machines -02
The corrugated papers are cut size wise.

03) Pasting Machine. Number of Machines -01
Layers of corrugated papers are pasted with silicate gum with each other for the making of 3, 5 and 7 ply cartons.

04) Pressing Machine. Number of Machines -01
After pasting the cartons are pressed under this machine so that they attach with each other tightly.

05) Rotary cutting and creasing machine. Number of Machines -02
The machine marks and cuts the master carton board for folding the carton.

06) Eccentric Slotting Machine. Number of Machines -01

07) Wax cutting machine. Number of Machines -02

08) Stitching Machine. Number of Machines -02

The Prodhan Packaging manufactures all kinds of quality Cartons (inner and master). Carton has several different categories; these produced on basis of the clients order. In a master carton ply means the number of layers of paper. The strength of a carton depends on the ply of the carton. By increasing, the number of ply makes the carton stronger.

Corrugated Carton Processes

Box Structure:

Corrugated fiberboard, or combined board, has two main components: the linerboard and the medium. Both are made of a special kind of heavy paper called containerboard. Linerboard is the flat facing that adheres to the medium. The medium is the wavy, fluted paper in between the liners. 

The following illustrations demonstrate four types of combined board.


Single Face: 

One medium is glued to one flat
sheet of linerboard. 


Single Wall:
The medium is between two sheets of
linerboard. Also known as Double Face. 

 

Double Wall:
Three sheets of linerboard with two
mediums in between. 

Triple Wall:
Four sheets of linerboard with three
mediums in between. 





Box Dimensions

Dimensions are given in the sequence of length, width and depth. Internationally, the words length, breadth and height may be used to express these dimensions. The dimensions of a box are described based on the opening of an assembled box, which can be located on the top or the side, depending on how it is to be filled. The opening of a box is a rectangle; that is, it has two sets of

parallel sides. The longer of the two sides is considered its length, the shorter of the two sides is considered its width. Theside perpendicular to length and width is considered the depth of the box 

Dimensions can be specified for either the inside or the outside of the box. Accurate inside dimensions must be determined to ensure the proper fit for the product being shipped or stored. At the same time, palletizing and distributing the boxes depends on the outside dimensions. The box manufacturer should be informed as to which dimension is most important to the customer.
